PRIVACY STATEMENT

The Berean Christian Alumni Community is intended to bring school friends together and to provide an easy way for alumni to stay connected with the school.  We will not sell the information in this website to marketers or any other parties.

The Alumni Association is committed to preserving the privacy of Berean Christian alumni. This site has a secure area where alumni and students can connect with one another. Alumni services in this area include the Online Alumni Directory, Email Forwarding for Life registration, Institute Career Assistance Network, and Education Counselor data. Alumni can also update contact information and subscribe/unsubscribe to mailing lists.

The information on this site will not be used for any commercial or philanthropic purpose not directly connected with or approved by Berean Christian High School; nor will copies be made; nor will the original information or facsimile be given, lent, or sold to any other individual or organization.

The Berean Alumni Online Directory allows alumni to suppress publication of their data on a field-by-field basis, except for first name, last name, and graduation year. Alumni can choose not to disclose their personal information to students.

Students are not listed in the Online Alumni Directory at this time.

Email Forwarding a service provided by the Berean Alumni Association to facilitate communication among individual members of the Berean community. Certain uses are inconsistent with this purpose, including but not limited to (1) activities that are illegal or fraudulent; (2) use that inaccurately implies endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by BCHS (or any individual officer of the school); (3) use that can be confused with official communications of BCHS or its officers; (4) use that can be confused with official communications of BCHS Clubs or their officers; (5) mass mailings (sometimes known as spamming). The BCHS Alumni Association will deny further access to the secure portion of its web site to those who engage in these or similar practices.

Cookies are used to store active login sessions to allow visitors to move between the public and the secure login areas without repeated logins. Cookies are also used to gather aggregate data that will help us improve our services in the future.

When an alumnus subscribes to a particular mailing list or provides an email address for other purposes, his or her email address is recorded. That address is used for sending out future emails. That address may also be used for general Alumni Association announcements. Alumni may opt-out of any or all email lists.

The Alumni Association does not read or censor any of the email that users receive through their Email accounts.

Neither BCHS nor the BCHS Alumni Association shall be liable for any direct or indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses or damage arising out of the use or misuse of this site or the content of any message sent by or to site users.
